Automotive technology is central to the design of the HumanCar -- that and street racing. The HumanCar originated from street racing of the 1950's in Sacramento CA. Handcrafting one of the first tube steel rail-style dragsters, the founders of HumanCar, entered into unknown mechanical territory. This was a natural extension from generations of revolutionary design and inventions. The founders of the HumanCar built some of the fastest cars of that era.
